An exchange on the subject of AI was held with National Institute of Technology, Kitakyusyu College or NITKIT. (May 1, 2024)

In the first half of this semester, the third-year Japanese Conversation (Ⅲ) classes, taught by Dr. Nakamura Kanae and Dr. Tomita Akira, involved a project to formulate business plans using AI. The course was designed with the cooperation of NITKIT, with whom TKUJP has promoted exchanges for some years. In early March, Dr Yoshimoto Yuma, Information and Systems Engineering Course of the institute, gave an online lecture to the students titled "Recent trends in AI and NITKIT's efforts".

Two groups from TKUJP made online presentations of their AI business plans to Dr. Yoshimoto and his students this time. Students from NITKIT also spoke about their daily robot research and participation in robot contests. Both sides were able to share their views on each other's interest and engage in meaningful exchanges, although their majors were completely different.

Abe Tsutomu, Vice-Principal of NITKIT, on his sabbatical in Taipei, also attended the meeting at TKU.  Photos
